Mi Impegno a Parma – L’integrazione vincente

Mi Impegno a Parma is a project designed to boost solidarity by promoting civic engagement. Citizens get involved in their community by offering their time and skills for voluntary activities. The project has been crucial to improve social inclusion of migrants and asylum seekers in Parma. Many asylum seekers have been volunteering and today they are the most involved. Thanks to the project, we have stimulated mutual knowledge between native and foreign citizens as well as obtained the elements to talk with the city about the positive value of migration, thus building a more cohesive and inclusive society.
