Open Mosque

Open Mosque is a yearly event happening during the month of Ramadan supported by the City of Turin. On this occasion, all the Islamic centers of the city of Turin are open for guided visits and Iftar dinner. Its main objective is to break stereotypes and prejudices about Islam and Mosques and to improve neighborhood relationships. Secondary objectives are both to empower community representatives and to improve mutual trust and knowledge between community representatives and public officers, policemen/women, religious stakeholders, and policy makers.
